Kason builds softside luggage in the two constructions buyers actually order: clamshell, where the case opens into two equal panels, and upright, where a lid panel sits on a deeper body. Both are made on our own floor in Pinghu, Zhejiang — a plant of more than 5,000 m² with around 80–100 staff, running since 2002.
Shell fabrics run from 1680D and 1200D nylon down to 600D, 420D and 210D polyester, with jacquard and twill weaves for the styles that carry a pattern. Because we cut and sew in house rather than trading, the fabric weight, lining, zipper tape and trim are all specified per order rather than fixed by a catalogue.
For importers and brand owners that means the same case can be built at a lighter weight for a price-led market or at 1680D with a reinforced base for a market that returns luggage for wear. Lead time is around 30 days depending on the item and quantity, and the price moves with your minimum order quantity.
